Exploring the immune system
in the fight against cancer.

Immuno-Oncology Explorer

European Hematology Association

All over the world, medical innovators are focused on finding effective therapies for cancer. One of the most intriguing areas of medical research is immuno-oncology, a treatment approach that enlists the body’s own immune system to help it fight cancer.

To help explain the science behind these complex therapies, Blue Telescope developed a suite of exhibits for the European Hematology Association's annual conference.

The centerpiece is a unique large-scale media experience in which tumors float down a digital wall onto an interactive tabletop.

Visitors select the floating images to explore emerging therapies through interactive animations. Each treatment is presented step-by-step, inviting visitors to interact through simple gestures, such as dragging t-cells to tumors or activating a virtual syringe.

Animated interactives artfully explain complex research, discoveries, and medical approaches in easy-to-understand ways.
